Pirozhki are delicious Russian hand pies filled with a variety of savory ingredients. They are perfect for a snack or light meal.

Ingredients:

5 g
Salt
10 g
Sugar
400 g
Flour
250 ml
Warm milk
7 g
Yeast
1 piece
Egg

Steps:

1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
2. Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Knead the dough until smooth, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
3. Divide the dough into small balls. Flatten each ball, add the desired filling, and seal it properly. Place on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
4. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and brush the pirozhki with egg wash. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm and enjoy!
