Pastitsio is a delicious Greek baked pasta dish with meat sauce and creamy bechamel.

Ingredients:

2 piece
Eggs
500 g
Ground beef
1 piece
Onion
2 cloves
Garlic
2 tbsp
Tomato paste
500 ml
Milk
300 g
Pasta

Steps:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Add the onion, garlic, tomato paste, and spices. Cook until fragrant.
4. Layer half of the cooked pasta in a baking dish. Add the meat sauce on top, then add the remaining pasta.
5. In a separate bowl, mix together eggs and milk. Pour the mixture over the pasta in the baking dish.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving.
