Focaccia Barese is a traditional Italian flatbread from the city of Bari, typically seasoned with olive oil, tomatoes, olives, and oregano.

Ingredients:

Salt
60 ml
Olive oil
1 g
Sugar
400 g
All-purpose flour
7 g
Yeast
300 ml
Warm water
5 g
Oregano
10 pieces
Cherry tomatoes

Steps:

1. In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead the dough until smooth. Cover with a cloth and let it rise for about 1 hour.
3. Preheat the oven. Flatten the dough onto a baking sheet. Press your fingertips into the dough to create dimples. Drizzle with olive oil and add cherry tomatoes, black olives, and oregano on top.
4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm and enjoy!
