Tiramisu is a classic Italian dessert made with layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and a creamy mascarpone mixture, topped with cocoa powder.
Steps:
1. Brew a strong espresso and let it cool.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
3. Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso and layer them on the bottom of a serving dish.
4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
5. Repeat the ladyfinger and mascarpone layers, ending with a layer of mascarpone. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
6. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
