Kürtőskalács, also known as chimney cake, is a traditional Hungarian pastry that is cooked over an open fire. It has a sweet and crunchy exterior with a soft, fluffy interior.

Ingredients:

Butter
50 g
Sugar
400 g
Flour
250 ml
Warm milk

Yeast

Steps:

1. In a small bowl, mix together warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
2. Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
3. Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a long strip. Wrap the dough strip around a cylindrical mold and brush it with melted butter.
4. Cook the wrapped dough over a fire or in an oven until it turns golden brown and crispy. Roll the cooked kürtőskalács in sugar or cinnamon for added flavor.
