Spinach with Chickpeas

A healthy and delicious vegetarian dish made with spinach and chickpeas, seasoned with flavorful spices.

Ingredients:

1 tsp
Salt
1 piece
Onion
1 pinch
Black pepper
1 tsp
Paprika
500 ml
Vegetable broth
2 tbsp
Olive oil
2 piece
Garlic cloves
2 tbsp
Tomato paste
400 g
Spinach
1 tsp
Cumin
400 g
Chickpeas

Steps:

1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
2. Add cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper to the pan. Stir in tomato paste and cook for a minute.
3. Stir in drained chickpeas and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
4. Add the spinach in batches, stirring until wilted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
