Spätzle are traditional German egg noodles, commonly found in Southern Germany and Austria.

Ingredients:

4 pages.recipe.units.unit
Eggs
1 tsp
Salt
125 ml
Water

Steps:

1. In a bowl, mix together flour, eggs, water, and salt to form a smooth batter.
2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Using a Spätzle maker or a colander with large holes, press the batter through into the boiling water.
3. Cook the Spätzle for a few minutes until they float to the surface, then remove with a slotted spoon and drain.
4. Serve the Spätzle hot with your favorite sauce or topping.
