Semolina Delight is a simple Turkish dessert made with just a few ingredients. It's prepared quickly and can be enjoyed either warm or cold with your favorite toppings!

Ingredients:

125 g
Butter
450 ml
Water
400 g
Sugar
60 g
Flour
50 g
Walnuts
50 ml
Sunflower oil
250 g
Semolina

Steps:

1. Combine sugar and water in a pot and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves.
2. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer the sugar water for about 15 minutes until it thickens into a syrup.
3. In a non-stick frying pan, heat butter and oil, then add the semolina and toast it while stirring constantly.
4. Once the semolina turns golden, gradually stir in the flour. Continue to toast the semolina-flour mix for about 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
5. Then pour the hot syrup over the mixture and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
6. Turn off the heat and let the dessert rest covered for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Coarsely chop the walnuts and fold them in. Tip: The dessert tastes best warm but can also be served cold.
8. Serve the finished semolina mixture in a moist cup or bowl, and gently invert it to serve.
