Pad Thai is a popular Thai stir-fried noodle dish that is sweet, sour, and savory.
Steps:
1. Soak rice noodles in warm water for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. In a wok, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add tofu, shallots, and garlic. Cook until tofu is golden.
3. Push the tofu to one side of the wok, pour the beaten egg on the other side. Scramble the egg until cooked.
4. Add the drained noodles to the wok. Pour in the Pad Thai sauce and toss everything together.
5. Stir in bean sprouts and chopped peanuts. Cook for 2-3 more minutes.
6. Serve hot with lime wedges, additional peanuts, and chili flakes on the side.
