Nasi Goreng is an Indonesian fried rice dish cooked with a mix of meat, vegetables, and aromatics.

Ingredients:

4 piece
Eggs

Salt
1 piece
Onion
2 cloves
Garlic cloves

Sugar
4 cups
Cooked white rice
300 g
Chicken, shrimp, or tofu
1 piece
Red chili
3 tbsp
Soy sauce

Steps:

1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
2. In a wok or large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion, garlic, and chili, sauté until fragrant.
3. Add chopped chicken, shrimp, or tofu and cook until browned.
4. Push ingredients to the side of the wok, add beaten eggs and scramble until cooked.
5. Add the cooked rice, soy sauce, kecap manis, and stir-fry until well combined.
6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and sugar if needed. Serve hot with a fried egg on top.
