Varenyky is a traditional Ukrainian dish consisting of dumplings filled with various fillings like potatoes, cheese, cabbage or fruit.
Steps:
1. Prepare the dough by mixing flour, salt, egg, and water. Knead until smooth, then cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
2. Roll out the dough and cut it into circles. Place filling in the center of each circle, fold in half and seal the edges.
3. Boil the varenyky in salted water until they float to the top. Serve with melted butter and sour cream.
