Tarta de Santiago is a traditional Spanish almond cake that is easy to make and perfect for dessert or tea time.

Ingredients:

Powdered sugar

Steps:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a round cake pan.
2. Mix almond flour, sugar, and lemon zest in a bowl.
3. Add beaten eggs and almond extract to the bowl and mix well.
4. Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
5. Let the cake cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar and a stencil of the Cross of Saint James.
