Broth

Masa harina

Lard

Corn husks

Steps:

1. Prepare the masa dough by combining masa harina, broth, and lard until a smooth dough forms.
2. Fill corn husks with a layer of masa dough and desired fillings like shredded pork, chicken, vegetables, or cheese.
3. Fold the corn husks and place the tamales upright in a steamer basket. Steam for about 1-1.5 hours until the masa is firm.
