These savory and sweet Plum and Cheese Crostinis are perfect for any gathering or as a delightful breakfast treat. With fresh basil, creamy goat cheese, and juicy plums, this dish tantalizes your taste buds.
Steps:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Wash the basil, shake it dry, remove the leaves from the stems, and set aside a handful for garnish. Finely chop the remaining leaves and mix them with the goat cheese.
2. Wash, halve, pit, and slice the plums. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, drizzle with honey and balsamic, and roast in the hot oven for about 20 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, drizzle the ciabatta slices with olive oil and toast them in a pan over medium heat until crispy on both sides. Remove them and let cool slightly, then spread about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture on each bread slice and lightly salt.
4. Remove the plums from the oven and distribute them on the bread slices. Drizzle with the remaining juice from the baking sheet. Garnish the crostinis with the reserved basil.
