Pampushky are Ukrainian garlic bread rolls that are soft, fluffy, and infused with garlic flavor. They are perfect as a side dish or a snack.
Steps:
1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
2. In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic.
3. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
4. Divide the dough into small pieces and shape them into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
5. Bake the pampushky in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
