A classic Spanish dessert consisting of crispy fried dough pastry served with a rich and indulgent chocolate sauce.
Steps:
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil, then add butter, sugar, and salt. Stir until butter is melted.
2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until mixture forms a ball. Let it cool for a few minutes.
3. Heat oil in a deep saucepan. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe strips of dough into the hot oil.
4. Fry until golden brown, then drain on paper towels. Roll churros in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
5. For the chocolate sauce, heat cream in a small saucepan. Add the chocolate and salt, stir until smooth. Serve warm with churros.
