Churros are delicious, crispy fried dough pastries that are popular in Spanish and Latin American cuisine. They are often enjoyed as a dessert or snack.
Steps:
1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in the flour until the mixture forms a ball.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 190°C (375°F). Place dough in a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Squeeze strips of dough into the hot oil, cutting them off with scissors.
3. Fry the churros until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Roll churros in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
