Chole Bhature is a popular North Indian dish consisting of spicy chickpeas (chole) served with deep-fried bread (bhature). It is flavorful, satisfying, and perfect for a hearty meal.
Steps:
1. Soak chickpeas in water overnight. Drain and rinse them the next day.
2. Pressure cook chickpeas with tea bags, bay leaf, and salt until soft. Discard tea bags and bay leaf afterwards.
3. Prepare a masala by sautéing onions, tomatoes, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste in oil. Add spices like turmeric, cumin, coriander, and garam masala.
4. Add the masala to the cooked chickpeas and simmer until flavors blend. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with bhature.
